A famous attraction in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Big Spring Kitch-Iti-Kipi is located near Manistique,
Michigan.
Kitch-Iti-Kipi is Michigan’s largest spring. It is 200 ft in diameter, 42 ft deep. The water is so clear
that the bottom appears to be much less deep. The massive spring delivers 10,000 gallons of water per minute.
Huge trout cruise the depths of the spring, where the water remains a constant 44 degrees, year round.
