w1330 ~ Trumpeter Swan Balancing Act

Image 39 of 40

The trumpeter swan (Cygnus buccinator) is the world's largest waterfowl. While still somewhat rare throughout the Great Lakes region, trumpeter swans are making a comeback in places like Barry County in Southwest Michigan. This trumpeter was photographed in March 2007 near Barry State Game Area.   If interested in licensing a high-resolution version of this photo, please visit our licensing portfolio at ShutterPoint.com or contact us directly. © Keto and Katie Gyekis
