| Located near State Route 3, just 30 minutes north of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, Black Bear Lodge is situated upon 350 acres of private land next to Mohawk Lake. We are surrounded by Adirondack State Park, and offer activities such as wildlife viewing, mountain biking, cross country skiing, kayaking, trout fishing, and canoeing. For those of you who enjoy alpine (down hill) skiing, we are located just a short drive from Whiteface Mountain and Big Tupper Ski Area. Rock climbers are attracted to the hard granite cliffs and formations which are so prevalent in the area.
